The large stone house on Alpine Approach Road was built in the late 1920's by Henry H. Oltman, a New York City stockbroker. The house is now the Headquarters for the NJ Palisades Interstate Park. Inside you will find The Parkway Police Station, a courtroom and offices for the PIP. Behind the house is a nicely landscaped backyard with a great view of the Hudson. It is one of the few Palisades Estates still standing.
